...is presented as a fact on page 1, by Sen John McCain. He says:

"...we were attacked not for a wrong we had done, but for who we are - a people united in a kinship of ideals, committed to the notion that the people are sovereign..."

In other words, as talk radio hosts love to remind us, we were attacked because they hate our freedom. What a howler. "They" hate our foreign policy, as Osama bin Laden has stated.

Then McCain relates how we swiftly and successfully retaliated. This is at least taking a "rose-glasses" look at recent events if not outright historical revisionism.

Our international relationships were the problem on 9-11 and they've gotten worse since. Saber-rattling and cheerleading for imperialism is the last thing we need today. (The Senator was just in the news singing a song about bombing Iran.) It's a shame McCain's grandstanding was allowed sully an otherwise fine work of research.

You are a fool.

You've never read the Koran, Hadith or Sura but you claim to know the mind of a strict adherent to them and you claim only ONE of the hundred reasons Bin Laden stated as excuses to hate us. None of which were new, some dating back 1400 years and all of which can be found in the Koran, Hadith and Sura.

You know absolutely nothing about metallurgy, architecture, mechanical engineering or controlled demolitions yet you insist on absurdities based on all as the only explanation to the fall of the WTC towers and dismiss the assessment of real experienced metallurgists, architects, engineers and demolitionists.

You have never known, seen or experienced real slavery, persecution or true imperialism yet these words slip off your tongue about America despite all evidence to the contrary and despite the fact that your claims would be impossible to make about our government were those claims true.

In short, you are neither intelligent nor witty. Your ranting is neither amusing nor insightful. All you have done is display to all without a shadow of a doubt that you are an uneducated, ignorant, coward and a tool.

The only revisionism I see here are the same idiotic ranting of empty-headed narcissists we've always seen throughout the ages, always on the wrong side of history and always completely dependant on better men than they.
