What exactly is the difference between this DVD and the others offered? The price is a bit higher and the length is about 21 minutes longer...could someone update the product description as to WHY it's longer/higher priced? Thanks:)

In comparing notes with other fans of this movie, we've determined that the original 100 minute runtime was somebody's typo. (My box says 100 minutes, but the counter on my DVD says 121 at the end of the final scene.) My guess is there was a new release (new box) last fall, but nothing on the actual disc has changed.

Doesn't this version have a different aspect ratio? (2.??:1 instead of 1.33:1)

The DVDs (mostly - not sure) have both aspect ratios. WS is 2.35:1 and FS 1.33:1. The one I have was released 1/14/03 (although it says c 2002) and is btb ("back to back": one disc, both sides). Also, my case shows 100 min, but the movie runs 121 min. Only the VHS released in 1998 deleted some swearing.

2/8/15 update, my DVD is PG-13.

There is a PG cut of this movie and a PG-13 cut. It may be that one version is longer than another. (My understanding is that the only difference between the two is that the PG-13 cut has stronger language.)

Do you really think they would add 21 minutes of "strong language?" and mark it PG-13?
