Practically Useless Without the Student Textbook, July 2, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Theatre Arts 1: A Teachers Course Guide (Theatre Arts (Meriwether)) (Pt.1) (Paperback)
I am teaching theater arts in a middle school, and I was searching for a text I could use in the classroom. This is not it. Many of the ideas and activities were interesting; however, I quickly realized that this book was useless without the student textbook. There is no way to use this book by itself. Every activity refers the reader to the student textbook. The required materials, scripts, etc. needed to use this book are not in the Teacher's Guide.

Theatre Arts 1, March 23, 2010

I have used this program for more than 15 years. It is an excellent program to use in your classroom whether you have the student handbook or not. I bought the handbook when I bought the manual. I very seldom used it because the manual had what I needed. If if it did not, I was able to find what I needed using the references in the manual. It is a program that you and your students will love.
