This is the most comprehensive book in the field, covering
all aspects of theatrical management in detail. It serves
as an excellent textbook for training as well as a manual
for both beginning and experienced managers. No one should
consider building a new theatre without looking over the
included checklist. All areas are covered from small
non-profit arts organizations to commercial theatre with
plenty of examples, and an extensive appendix. The
bibliography alone is worth the price of the book.

With all respect to Mr. Langley, this book is 20 years behind the times. There was some good information, but there was an equal amount information that no longer applies.
