An essential occulture text, marred by hints of sectarianism, May 15, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Thee psychick bible: Thee apocryphal scriptures of Genesis P-Orridge & thee [sic] third mind ov [sic] psychic TV (Paperback)
A collection fo brilliant texts collected from record sleeves, T.O.P.Y. bulletins and so on. Also includes the Grey Book (an intro to Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth) in its entirety.
Gen's philosophy draws on occultism, popular culture, avant garde art, William Burroughs and Brion Gysin and a whole lot more.
Unfortunately the brilliance of the text is marred by the author's absurd re-writing of the history of T.O.P.Y., which he claims to have "terminated" in 1992. This has caused no small amount of amusement to the hundreds of people still active in the T.O.P.Y. nett-work.
Nonetheless - this is still recommended as a righteous weapon in the Information War.
