5.0 out of 5 stars Classic Myth beautifully retold as a Children's Story!, August 3, 2000
This review is from: The Theft of Thor's Hammer (Myths and Legends) (Library Binding)
The Theft of Thor's hammer enchantingly illustrated and instructive in it's impact that it wonderfully shows The World Tree of the Three levels of creation perfectly and probably more beautifully in it's concept. The various Gods are each explained to their place in the Mythology, and the story is charmingly told. I believe it should be a recommended text for any student of Norse Mythology for an under 13 year old intellect, of which the actual Sagas and Eddas may seem too intense and heavyhanded.
