No Dylan here,

This review is from: Theme Time Radio Hour: The Best Of The Third Series (Audio CD)
Beware: This CD officially has nothing to do with Dylan, and he's not on it at all. Still, it's a fine sampling of vintage R&B, blues and folk records the man spun on his radio show, and the sound is good. Just don't expect to hear Bob comment.

This review is from: Theme Time Radio Hour: The Best Of The Third Series (Audio CD)
This collection appears to round out the Chrome Dreams CDs for Theme Time Radio Hour music. As with the first two, it's difficult to say which other songs might have been included. It's impossible to know what songs couldn't be included because of other considerations. But this is as good a set as the first two, based on the third, and apparently final, year for the original Theme Time Radio Hour.
Bob's not here, not in performance or spoken word, but certainly in spirit. Some of this is the music he listened to late at night, as a boy, from distant radio stations. This is, apparently, the music he chooses to listen to now and the music he choose to air on his show. While he's not directly involved in this collection, it would not have been assembled without Theme Time. Four-star for the selection, there's no way a Theme Time collection could be five-star. There's always another Theme Time track that could have gone on here in a perfect world, and we'd never agree which one that should be.
