Careful with this one..., January 4, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Themes From James Bond Movies (Audio CD)
This disk contains just what it says, "Themes" from Bond movies. For example, "The Spy Who Loved Me" is not the Carly Simon favorite, it is the orchestral theme from the movie. It's a fine recording, but not what you're looking for if you're looking for the hit songs. Make sure you give it a listen before buying to make sure you get what you think you're getting.

Not so great..., April 17, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Themes From James Bond Movies (Audio CD)
As far as orchestral performances go, this one is not so hot. It's a high school band meets Lawrence Welk...good but not quite good enough. I'm still waiting for the bubbles to come pouring out of my chandelier. It has a few high points here and there, but only enough for a 2-star rating. If you have ever heard one of the Reader's Digest orchestral compilations from the 50's, you'll have a flashback.
