This is the sixth book in the Georgia Nicolson series, and it continues the absolutely hilarious life of Georgia and her mates. Georgia's family is going to Hamburger-a-go-go Land (America) and Georgia is going to be on the lookout for Masimo, aka The Italian Stallion. What ensues is truly funny: Georgia's family continues to embarrass her in spectacular fashion; her "elderly mad" grand-vati is left in charge of Angus and Gordy; and her friends are always on hand to lend wisdomosity. Of course things never go as planned with Georgia, but that's part of the fun and Rennison keeps the story moving at a fast clip. I was literally in tears of laughter at several points during this book. Highly recommended!

"Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers" (get your minds out of the gutter, Georgia's talking about fake eyelashes!) breathes new life into a formerly tired series, a sort of Bridget Jones for the tween set. Written with biting humor and supposedly based on the author's school chums, the Georgia Nicolson books capture the lunacy, laughs and just-for-girls-only moments of adolescence: boys and dating, proper makeup application and kissing techniques, and clothes shopping, mostly. Don't be put off by the Young Adult status: these books are wickedly funny and utterly deranged. Consider the following:

"Rosie went off to her bedroom. She said, "I am going to be Massimo, so I have to get in the mood for luuurve." She came back five minutes later wearing a false beard with a banana down her jeans. I said, "Why have you got a banana down your jeans?" Rosie said, "It was Sven's suggestion. He said it is representitative of the pant python." Ellen said, "I...er..do you mean like a boy's, er, well..." Rosie said, "Exactomondo, my little pally."

Followed by snogging (kissing) practice:

"Then Rosie said, "Finally, as you haven't had any snogging practice in a while, try an experimental snog on the back of my leg." What??? Absolutely not, not a snowball's chance in hell. No and three times no... Fifteen minutes later: On my knees snogging the back of Rosie's leg whilst the ace gang watch me."

In this, the newest novel, Georgia is more philosophical than usual, as her red-bottomosity is out of hand: she is asked out by Italian Vespa-driving hunk Massimo, receives a letter from her ex-Sex God Robbie, currently in New Zealand (or Kiwi-A-GoGo-Land, as G. calls it), and Dave the Laugh seems to think that she's the one and only girl for him. What's a girl to do?

She relies on her friends, the Ace Gang (Jas, Jools, Ro Ro, Ellen), to give her guidance in this most trying of times. G. goes as far as flying to Hamburger-a-gogo land (America) in a desperate attempt to find Massimo, complicated by the fact that she thinks Memphis is next to Manhattan. Once back in Billy Shakespeare land (England), Georgia must decide what her heart is trying to tell her. Also along the way, Georgia nearly manages to ruin her feet in too-small shoes while dressed to impress, is involved in a naughty nuddy-pants dance only wearing bison horns, and mangles the French and German languages at will.

Includes a handy glossary translating Britishisms and Georgia-isms, and a mini-CD-ROM with screensavers, audio clips from Louise Rennison (the author), and a Mad-Libs type activity.

Wow! Louise didn't disappoint us Georgia Nicolson fans! In the next laugh-a-minute installment in the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson series, Georgia and her best mate Jas head of to Hamburger-a-gogo land (America) to find the Italian Lurrrvve god, Masimo. After a week in America without finding Masimo, Georgia is forced to go back to England by her mutti and vati, where Georgia's hilarious adventures continue! She knows that Masimo is the one for her, but then Robbie the Sex God writes a letter from Kiwi-a-gogo land (New Zealand), and Dave the Laugh
starts acting weird and saying that him and Georgia are meant to be. As always in Georgia's life, nothing is ever normal, and everything is full of hilariousity!

This is the 6th book in the Louise Rennison "Confessions of Georgia Nicolson" series. Written in a diary-format you know the exact time of day Georgia is entering her latest thoughts. Georgia Nicolson is a British teenage girl suffering through all the drama and chaos of her age. Whether its boy-drama, friend-drama, family-drama or even cat-drama Georgia handles everything in a very...dramatic fashion, but with a dash of humor of course! Having been "in love" as many times as the average teen girl Georgia finds yet another boy she absolutely MUST be with. Georgia's so-called "luuuurve God" named Masimo is visiting America (or Hamburger-a-gogo land to Georgia) and lucky for Georgia her family will be visiting America as well. We begin by mostly finding out what on earth she should wear when she meet up with "luuuurve God" and how her self-absorbed friend Jas just doesn't care. Georgia's best friend Jas is one of those negative people you find yourself somehow always attracted to and no matter how much Jas drives Georgia absolutely mad, they can't help but be best friends. Although Georgia is accompanied by her embarrassing parents, terribly annoying sister Libby and spazzy best friend Jas she is determined to find her "Italian Stallion" Masimo, even though he is in Manhattan and she is in Memphis... Georgia's adventures in the United States come off as laugh out loud absolutely hilarious. With a glossary in the back of the book to keep you up to date on the latest British slang such as "boy entrancers", "nervy spaz" and "nunga-nungas" you can follow Georgia on all of her outrageous adventures.

Louise Rennison finished Dancing In My Nuddy-Pants (Book 4 of this series) with the words "THE OFFICIAL AND PROPER END. PROBABLY." Three years and two books later, Georgia Nicholson's comic misadventures in romance continue - but Rennison seems to be having trouble maintaining the quality of her earlier books.

Rennison's writing style continues to amuse, as she chronicles the family, social, and love lives of her sixteen-year-old heroine; but the situations Georgia finds herself in all seem recycled from previous books. Again she goes on holiday with her family (this time to Memphis, which seems to inspire little more than a single joke, used over and over again). Again she's pursuing an older boy whose behavior she can't fathom. Again Wet Lindsay has her own designs on the same boy. Again Dave the Laugh, still attracted to Georgia, offers advice and tries to steer her toward himself. Even Georgia's nicknames seem re-done: Robbie, her hearthrob for the first four books, was dubbed "the Sex God"; Masimo, his Italian successor, is "the Love God" (sorry, "the Luuurve God").

Also, Rennison's difficulty with chronology is more obvious in this book. If Georgia has aged from 14 to 16 over the course of the series to date, then her little sister Liberty should have aged from 3 to 5 - yet in this latest installment, she's still a toddler. Likewise Wet Lindsay should be off at uni by now, yet we still see her at Georgia's school.

The ending of The He Ate My Boy Entrancers makes it clear that there's at least one book still to come (will Georgia finally come to her senses and say yes to Dave the Laugh?). I can only hope the Rennison can wrap up the series while her wit and humor still make the books worth reading.

One of the hilarious tales of the British teenager, Georgia Nicolson, est tres amusant. Now that the "love god" is "out of her thoughts, and never to return", there is a new man on her mind. The Itallion Stallion, Masimo. Georgia is very impatient about his return from "Hamburger-a-go-go"(America), and is extatic when her family informs her that this is their new destination for vacation.

The sixth story of the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson is quite funny. I was not surprised it was though. The whole series is. I say, more prays for Louise Rennison, for creating the book that made tears stream down my face with laughter. The story is appropriate for, preferably, the "young adults" out there. The plot was brilliant and so were the characters. Bring on the next story!

I've read all the books in this series and this one is by far the best. Georgia Nicolson is going to Hamburger A-go-go land (America) with her very embarrassing family and her best friend Jas. Georgia is hoping to see Masimo in America but her family is very goofy and they keep her and Jas on a tight leash (not to mention that Georgia is in Tennessee and Masimo is in New York City!) On top of that everyone they meet in Tennessee thinks their accents are funny or Irish (they are British.) but as always Georgia survives her family and gets some very awesome surprises when she gets back to the UK. I definitely suggest this book to anyone who loves to laugh or who can relate to Georgia. I loved reading this book and once I started reading I couldn't put it down till I was finished reading!

I absolutely love the Georgia Nicolson series. They're just the right combination of teenage life and funny moments, which means that they're not going to bore you like most teen books that have entire chapters of the character wallowing around, feeling sorry for themselves. Sure, Georgia does that, but it never stops being funny!

Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers is one of the best, including Georgia's thoughts on the Hamburger-a-gogo types (Americans), and her new love interest, The Italian Stallion Masimo. The plot moves along quickly, and you can't help but laugh with Georgia and her embarrasing parents, little sister, and supportive (sometimes) friends.

The Georgia Nicolson series is mostly for fun, but it has the truth of the struggles of teenage life in it too, between Georgia's trouble with 'the Horn' and the average worries of us teens. You can't help but laugh while reading it.

Imagine that the guy you like is heading across the Atlantic Ocean to visit his parents. Would you stay at home and mope around until he comes back? Or would you hop on a plane and chase him down? If you're Georgia Nicolson, you'll choose the latter. Luckily for her, her dad is heading to Memphis, Tennessee in only two weeks! So Georgia, along with her best friend Jas, go from England to America in hopes of finding Masimo, a.k.a. "the Luuurve God." Unfortunately, it takes a week by bus to go from Memphis to Manhattan, where Masimo is, so Georgia's genius plan turns out to be not so genius after all. So, after a week in "hamburger-a-gogo land," as Georgia calls America, they head back home. Now Georgia is forced to wait until Masimo returns home to find out what her relationship with him is. So Georgia waits, and waits, and waits, and finally she spies Masimo sitting on his scooter right outside her school! The only problem is that "Wet" Lindsay, the girl Georgia hates, is flirting with him, and he is flirting back. Then, out of the blue, Georgia receives a letter from her ex-boyfriend, Robbie, in New Zealand, saying that he likes her. A little later on, Georgia's other ex-boyfriend, Dave "the Laugh," tells her that they were meant to be. Whom will Georgia choose? Robbie? Dave? Or will she keep trying to get Masimo to like her as a girlfriend? Read Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers to find out. This contemporary fiction novel is the sixth book in the Georgia Nicolson series by Louise Rennison. I suggest you read the first five books first, because you will understand more of what's going on in this book. I really liked Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers because it is very funny. It is written in a diary format, so you get to see her point of view on everything. That includes her insane sister who does and says the strangest things, her two vicious cats who terrorize the neighborhood and her house, her embarrassing parents who always find ways to make her embarrassed, her wacky friends who always come up with the most hilarious plans and ideas, and, of course, Masimo. Because this book is British, there is a glossary at the back of the book. Don't skip it, because it is also from Georgia's perspective, so it is very funny. I recommend this book to girls ages 11-14 who like funny, fast-paced contemporary fiction. As Georgia says, "Let the overseas snog fest begin!"

Georgia Nicolson is off to America, also known as "Hamburger-A-Gogo land". Accomponied by her large-knickered best friend, Jas, she flies to Memphis, Tennesse with her father, mother, and little sister, Libby. There, Georgia has a touygh ride on a bucking barstool while trying to find her true "Itallion Stallion" love, Masimo.

When she gets back to England, she has the typical trials of a teenager, like Masimo, gigs, and shoes that are too small.

Eveyone that knows Georgia, including the doctor hired to cut her shoes off of her feet, Our Lord Sandra, Dave, the red herring, and the gang, and mayube you, will love her.

Will eorgia ever meet up with Masimo, or will Wet Lindsay, the thong wearer and boyfriends stealer get him? Better find out!
