I took Professor Krivanek's interpersonal class and am now buying another book again three years later for my father. I think it is an amazing text, I have walked away with so much knowledge, understanding and perspective. Information of the kind that matters most, the most important thing in all our lives, our relationships with others. Buy this book. Share it with everyone you know. I hope it become the basis for all interpersonal classes nationwide, but it is also really great read as well.

I'm taking Mrs. Krivanek's Interpersonal Communications class right now (Riverside, CA) and she has been able to tell us about some of the ideas she had that helped her put this text together. I think this book is almost too interesting to be classed as a college text because we all think of those as dull. But, How Then Shall We Live? acts as a self-help book so I recommend it to a student, teacher, or avid reader. This first edition is aimed toward the California population, referring to certain cities, but Mrs. Krivanek has just been told her book is going to be used nationwide. :) I was really surprised when I finally found a class with a book that didn't put me to sleep!
