Great cd!,

Dmx has a very unique rap style, each and every song has its own beat and rythym. Although the lyrics are explicit, the edited version can let you sit back and relax without hearing so much of the fowlness. Dmx usually uses a very powerfull voice in each song, making it all the more pulse pounding and flowing. I give it five stars! If you are looking for unique, flowing, and strong rap; then dmx is the one for you!

DMX's Greatest CD,
By A Customer

This is the best rap CD ever. The beats are all different and better than ever. Don't hesitate to get this CD. The bonus track is really cool and "Party Up" and "Whats My Name" are the best. DMX combines loud, mad, raffish songs with slower, calmer, soothing songs to make an outstanding album.

Good, but not his best,

The songs have the signature DMX sound and that, of course, is a compliment. I especially like "More 2 A Song" because it tells us about the other side of fame. "Fame" and "Here We Go Again" are also phat. He gave us a collection of good songs in this album, but they don't top some of the songs on previous albums. But it is worth owning, and that's an understatement.

I bang all 5 of the Dog's albums. This one I bang too but I listen to the same few congs cuz the rest I'm not feelin. This was his best seller, but not his best and rawest effort. Out of 15 songs, I bang only 7, thats just half the CD. His other Cds you can bang almost the whole project.1. One More Road to Cross 2. Professional 4. Here We Go Again 7. What These B*****s Want 8. What's My Name? 10. Don't You Ever 12. Comin' for Ya

DMX keeps chugging right along with And then There was X. There are a few throw away tracks sprinkled in, but overall a pretty solid effort, a testament to DMX despite the overflood of material (which would be overwhelming from most artists) He still knows how to hold it down.

Not a bad album,

Party up and good girls bad guys are heavy tunes. The rest is just ok. DMX needs to stop trying to copy Tupac.

DMX is a good rapper, don't get me wrong the man has skills. It just seems to me that this album was lacking something. When I first heard DMX on his first album, I heard something that I do not hear from X anymore...hunger. On his first album he was hungry, dropping carefully crafted lyrics at the drop of a dime and making you feel him. And that is what we did on his first album, we felt him. He made sure of that. I wondered how he was going to top the first one and he came out with Flesh of My Flesh, and it was just as hot as the first one, but the third one was missing the DMX hunger that I knew from the first 2 albums. The album is cool and there are the standard party tracks (Party Up, What's My Name, Good Girls, Bad Buys) and the other good tracks (DXL, One More Road To Crossand Comin For Ya) but there are some filler tracks...(Fame, The Professional and More 2 a Song) which are terrible at best. Pick up this CD but it is not as tight as the first 2.
