The artists who created the illustrations for this book are from the same studio that did The Animated Megillah and The Animated Hagaddah, among others.

Amateurish,

This review is from: And Then There Were Dinosaurs (Hardcover)
It follows the story that God created the dinosaurs and then didn't like what they became, so destroyed them all. It lacked the graphics to go with the story, as the pictures are of playdough figures and didn't agree with the children for whom I purchased the book. I recommend you buy another title with better graphics.

This book was not only fun and well-illustrated, but a real teaching tool for my children.

A Story About Not Being Selfish,
By Political Maven (NYC, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: And Then There Were Dinosaurs (Hardcover)
This book teaches that sharing is good and selfishness is bad. It uses a Book of Genesis-like tale of God and creation, but without preaching any religion. It does not address the creation or evolutionary theory debate... This is a children's book. This is a book about good dinosaurs gone wild, "A Barney Without A Cause", if you will. The illustrations are pictures of clay figures, which will be a pleasant touch of nostalgia for parents who were kids back in the '50's and '60's, and if a parent can get into telling a story well to their child, the kids are sure to love the experience all the more. |
