The book itself is in good condition. I need the book for a class. As it relates to the book itself, It could just be me having a hard time grasping the concept; I tend to have the need to know "why" the subject is important right away so I have an idea as a guide. I suspect that I will learn more about the logic and importance of NT ethics; and, the significance of NT ethics as it relates to today better in class but for now I'm not getting much other then a history lesson which is good too if it was just history about a subject -- as in this case it would be African American history. I am sure theologians/scholars appreciate the subject (NT ethics) a lot more considering it as a field of study. As a student however I need a better idea so I can follow the book a better. Scholars please find a way to substitute the bigger words, sentence structure so beginner students can enjoy the reading along with the more astute, it you will. Thank you!

At Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, ministers-in-training (MITs) meet once a month at 7:00 a.m. and study various African American literature. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. has assigned as essential for their preparation; to become ministers. It would be wonderful if ministers throughout the country had study groups of this type.
