I think alot of people make the mistake of looking for the same feeling or the same vibe when an artist they're into starts a new project. If Theo the former lead singer of "Lunachicks" was trying to win over the same people then she would probably carry on that band in one form or another. This cd starts off with the explosive "Doppleganger Death Disco" and for a half an hour the songs melt in and out of one another, Theo lets out some top notch roars on "Say it Again" ! "First Bleach " is probably my favorite track on the album, it shows that this disco element doesn't have to mean this a happy album the only track that fell behind a bit for me was "End of Time" . But with such strong material as " Lay 'em Out" "Down the Hole" "Unraveled" and "Broken Girl" I couldn't let give this any less than 5. "Red Shoes" is very catchy track about spinning your wheels "over & over & over again" with the uplifting conclusion that " I GUESS I"LL REST WHEN I'M DEAD ! "
The videos are a great bonus Especially " Run Rabbit Run" if I were to trip on acid I'd be reachin for this dvd ! ! I really hope Theo's first solo CD gets pressed again ! !
I had the privilege of seeing the band live this carries over very well into a live setting guitarist SEAN PIERCE incorperates some really cool effects that made a keyboard basicly unnecessary . Theo was outstanding vocally and just as sweet as she is gorgeous ! ! No they did not play any Lunachicks songs , I do believe that fans of Lunachicks could enjoy this as long they aren't looking for a total Lunachicks sound, or for this to pick up where that band left off, I love the Lunachicks and would give anything for a reunion ! ! ! ! , but I feel it's important to support artists that you respect and admire when they take on different projects. So as a long time fan of Lunachicks is this worth the money ? ? YE$ ! ! ! ! $$ BUY IT ! BUY IT ! BUY IT ! BUY IT ! BUY IT !
Theo is very generous with her fans and deserves your support, and really if this was to somehow get some air play it would most likely sell millions ! ! ! Seriously !
So check it out and maybe Theo will find us worthy of a Lunachicks Reunion ! !

a very good second album, maybe too much blondie flavour;
a bit short could be longer, the dvd has nothing really new inside.

I have always loved Theo Kogan. I've followed all her projects; print zines, music, movies, videos, modeling...

I do hope they also re-release her solo album. It was fantastic!
