This is a very good book.
I recommend it for all the People of God especially in this culture that has become 'sex-oriented' in everything. Why? Because we need to know the original intention of God for creating us. God created us in that state of Original nakedness, original solitude and original unity until we fell away from Him, we became so proud as if we would make it through on our own. But God did not leave us, He continues to appeal to the Human heart: this is why Augustine states "Our hearts are restless till they rest in God". We continue to yearn and long for the 'Original' in our state of concupiscence. TOTB is an absolute treasure, left us by the late great Holy Father, John Paul II. Life changing. If you haven't read anything on it, this is a great way to sample it. If you already know about it and want to share the treasure with family, friends, or even acquaintances, this is the perfect way. Each "chapter" is a mere 2-page reading, perfect as an evening read. Well written--simple, yet not simplistic. Also excellent to equip parents for teaching their kids about sexuality, and for teens to read. I bought a whole batch to give away...will have to replenish soon!

I do not believe your religion, denomination, or any other self claimed adjective should keep you from reading this book. The insight it provides into being a sexual being is profound, applicable, and satisfying. I have recommended it to numerous friends, religious, irreligious, homosexual, and heterosexual. Tremendous book.
