I have read so many books on the reformers but this one is so infused with their particular truths. The reformers who wrestled truths from the dead languages of the roman church then declared them to us. In the book it is categorized by topics, like scriptures, sacraments etc. And excerpts from many martyrs of the pre elizabethian reign are in this book as you read Latimer, Jewel, Cranmer, Tyndale, It gives a greater depth to foxes book of martyrs as you understand the men involoved in it. There is portions of sermons that left me in tears. The rich christian history in this book every christian should experience its an intelligent read a souls joy it is currently in my personal top 5 books of over a thousand I have been exposed to. Would be a great study of theology and early reformed church history. For a serious Bible study I do mean serious this is a heavy fulfiling read It gives great honor to our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ .
