This review is from: Theology in a Global Context: The Last Two Hundred Years (Paperback)
If you are looking for a whole book dedicated to listing philosophers and theologians from past to present in rapid succession over a cascade of pages, this is your pick. Don't look for accurate reporting, or even detailed information about their views - but filling the space that would take are outlines of every featured person's childhood and adolescent movements through the world - where they were born, what they liked to do with their time, what odd jobs they held before becoming important - you name it!
...I despise this book. I love books on a general basis, this one I would put to the torch without a moment's hesitation were it not that I still need to finish it for my Religion coursework. Come semester end, it shall meet the flame. |
