I used this book for my Theories of Personality class in college and really liked this book. It is easy to navigate, understand and is written simplistically. I like how at the end of each chapter has a glossary of terms for easy reference and each chapter has subheadings, which make reading easier. The perfect book for a psych major and college student!

I used this book for my Theories of Personalities class. It was very informative and help me with all of my assignments. The text goes into detail about the Psychologists' lives and their theories about the development of personality. There is a glossary at the end of each chapter which is very convenient, instead of flipping back to the end of the book to find definitions. I recommend this text to anyone who would like to learn about different theories of personality, and if they need help with the psychology class.

This textbook is the perfect size for on the go college students. It fits easily into a backpack, and is easily read laying down because it's light weight and not bulky at all. The content is also easy to read & understand wnhich is crucial for a Psychology major.

This Text was listed as "Used, Very Good". "Used, Like New" would be more accurate. This textbook doesn't appear to have ever been used. Perfect condition! The price was significantly less than my school bookstore used price.

Text: Covers the background and the theories of personality of various psychologists. Each chapter covers a different psychologist. If you are a Psych major this is an excellent foundation for further study. If you are not a Psych major...informative but loaded with terms and difficult to distinguish the differences in theories for test purposes.

I am very pleased with this purchase. Even with the added price of expedited shipping, it cost much less than I could find it in stores. The book arrived when promised and was in great condition. I find this book very interesting and well written. My only disappointment is the book's lack of visual stimulation, as it contains very few photos and graphics.

I am not very happy with some of the books ordered. I have been waiting over 3 weeks for a book to be shipped and it still has not arrived. Theories of Personality by the time I get the book my daughter will not be able to use it. All other books that we have ordered came with in like 7 days or less. This book I still have not received and not very happy. I guess I will order someplace else the next time I need books.

ALTHOUGH IT TOOK FOREVER FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY ITEM (MOSTLY DUE TO MY CHOICE OF DELIVERY) THE TEXT BOOK CAME IN TACT AND IS A GREAT READ FOR MY CLASS. THE AUTHOR REALLY KNOW HOW TO TAKE THE SCIENCE OF PSYCHOLOGY AND MAKE IT UNDERSTANDABLE AND OBTAINABLE BY THE STUDENT A+ FOR ME THIS SEMESTER I AM SURE.

The book was slightly overrated for it should not have any marking inside to be rated "like new". It was in excellent conditions otherwise.
