This review is from: Theories of Small Groups: Interdisciplinary Perspectives (Paperback)
I have just received this book and while I have only read the first few chapters, I am very pleased so far. This book is interesting, easy to read, and provides good overviews to the most important theories of small group communication. It is not an in-depth study of group theory, but provides an informed summary. There are countless references for further research if you are so inclined. Theories are approached from a largely functionalist perspective, but overall a very worthwhile read exploring small group communication theory.
