I had the unfortunate experiance of having this book as my first book on DSP. It is an industrial strength DSP book intended for practising engineers. It deals with the foundations of DSP in a rather cursory manner. Rabiner rushes into filters, pratical DSP tools almost in the first few chapters. A good book for experts a bad one for beginners... |
