The first third of the book is devoted to design principles and history of fashion. The rest is technique, with slopers. Many many b+w illustration, mainly line drawings. I like the sections where good and poor designs are compared side by side, especially the chapter "elements of good taste." For someone with an iterest in sewing or collecting 60s fashion, this is an enjoyable find. |
