I had this book 25 years ago. Now I am teaching piano and this theory lesson book is still the same; which is great! So glad to see it still has removable pages for easy lesson work. Highly recommend and would buy this item again.

this is a great exercise book, as long as you have some previous knowledge of music theory.

Good beginning theory book,

I used this book when I learned how to play and now that I'm teaching, it's still a decent beginning theory book. It's been re-done sometime since I used it as a child. The lessons are to the point and each page takes only a few minutes max, so there isn't really enough time for a student to get bored with the work. I recommend this book for beginners using a traditional piano method.

Seems to be fairly well rounded. We use other Schaum series books to supplement, but if I had to choose a single series to use, the theory lessons/note speller pair would probably be it for younger or new piano students. This is the last book in that series.
