This textbook, with the accompanying manual, are a great way to get an understanding of theories. The text book offers a detailed write up of the theorist, plenty of information about the theory, and even a case study of "Stan", putting each theory into practice.

This is an absolute great piece on psychology.covering all walks and guiding you in every circumstance. Buy the illustrated one. Its an absolute easy read and very useful!

I loved how this book was outlined. Very easy read. Will be great for reviewing for boards and testing.

I ordered this book to grasp the knowledge of theories that my present instructor has required for us to read. I think that it is helpful and allows a person to look at the different aspects of counseling.

There was a little more water damage than he had expected, but sent an additional manual to compensate for it! Everything went smoothly. Was great to work with! Thanks!!!!

I under your frustrations about not receiving Textbook. The reviews supposedly address the understanding about theory and practice of counseling & psychotherapy text, which is presented by Corey explaining how panels of expert develop their time and expertise to a thorough evaluation of the text itself. We should separate our personal feeling out of it. Because when viewer's see low ratings, they automatically suspect the worst of it. Overall, I took several of psychology courses while earning my A.A.S. Degree and my Professor recommended this text. Once I read this text, there was absolutely no turning back. This is a "great" text to use for reference and while writing a reflection paper. I highly recommend this text to any student that is furthering his or her education in Psychology major.

I recived the book in the time said I would & the book still smells like new, just a few highlighting, but that's no biggie! Other than that it's in excelent condition, even better than it was described!!
