Too many gramatical errors for me.,

This book is OK. The authors are not your typical Ph. D types, which I think is a major mistake to just to begin with. Bancroft and Gamble (editors) must have decided to rely on their own gramatical skills (as opposed to paying an actual editor.) I think this was a critical mistake, because simple gramatical mistakes cause me to question the quality of the work in general. Some factual information is contradicted from tables to text references. Yikes!!! I wanted to buy Sheehan's book, but I could not afford that particular text. I know that Sheehan's text is critical for HTL's. Just to save my time and your time I am not going to highlight all the mistakes that I have observed so far, but I must say that the 7th edition is not on my list of must reads. Compared to Sheehan, I would say this book is 'watered down,' focuses less on more obscure (but important) techniques, references Sheehan alot, and lacks the volume of images I would like to see. Histology is all about the staining quality... The section on fixation is disappointing to say the least. Anyway, it has some good points. I would classify the book as OK.

It's really fast by the free super saver shipping, and the quality is good, too. I would like to buy next time.
