Verplank's book is great. I also have her Notes from the Grooming Table. Both books are well written, informative, with information you can put into practice immediately. She breaks down each concept in easy to follow instructions with great illustrations. A must for every groomer.

This book is great if you don't already own Melissa's "Notes from the Grooming Table." There is nothing new or different in this book....just a condensed version of the most common information...it easier to carry around though.
