I bought the red 55cm-size ball and my husband used an air compressor to blow it up. Trouble is, it was a little smaller than it was supposed to be when he finished. I mean, the little measuring tape they give with it was measuring the size it was supposed to be, but the actual size wasn't 55cm! I was sitting on it with less than a 90° angle between my thighs and calves. He made it a little bigger with more air and now it is fine, altho it is bigger than the tape measure says it should be. I am only 4' 11 1/2" tall, and should need the yellow ball for my height, but decided to go with the bigger red ball. It's a good thing I did! I think whatever size you are supposed to get, you should move it up one more size, if you want it to fit your body correctly.

As far as the quality of the ball, it's very strong and sturdy. It hasn't leaked at all in the month that I have had it. It's very comfortable to sit on and works very well with the exercises I am supposed to do. I would buy another Thera-Band ball, if I needed another one...I only gave it 4 stars because of the size issue, not it's performance.

I used one of these at a physical therapy office and thought it would be great for core workout (sit ups and back strengthening) and it is. Great product and comes with excersize ideas.

I got my ball today, three days after i ordered it which is nice, but i realized they didnt give me a workout sheet or instructions on how much psi to fill it to. They did give me a measuring tape but i dont know exactly how it works because there arent any numbers on it. It seems like a great ball it feels nice and durable ill keep you posted, but one thing i am noticing as i fill it up is that it is only 24" tall and i ordered the 30" blue one, maybe ill keep filling it up but it seems pretty full already. Im 6'1 in case you were concerned with sizing, i would probably go with the 85 cm ball if youre taller than 6 feet

Very happy with the Thera-band Pro Series exercise balls we received. Reasonably priced.Easy to inflate. Quality materials. Durable and very sturdy. Glad we didn't skimp and go for the less expensive exercise balls.

Upon opening, I noticed immediately that there was no instructions on the usage of the items that came with tha Thera-band Exercise Ball. Like how to inflate, proper pressure, care of the product, and no usage guidelines (exercises) as promised in the brochure.

When we unpacked the deflated ball from its plastic bag, it was covered with grease. Not sure if this was some kind of melting of the plastic (oil product) because it was stored in the plastic bag too long? I washed it in dish soap to the best of my ability before we inflated it, but it was still sticky. After we inflated the ball, I used window cleaner and the 2-step cleaning process seemed to work. Otherwise, the ball is great, inflated it to the max size, let it sit 24 hours as recommended, and it hadn't expanded, so it was stable. We are using it happily now that it's cleaned up.

Love these balls. I ordered 2. Have had about 5 months and have found very durable and so far cat proof. Great for seat or as exercise ball. I use mostly for yoga type stretching.

Exactly as advertised. Great for men -- supports my 220 pounds very well. Exc quality

This ball never inflated to it's intended size. The 55cm inflated to the size of a 45cm. The company insisted it was the pump I was using but actually there was no way it could stretch any bigger. It's a 45cm ball with a 55cm label on it.

I own several exercise balls from multiple vendors and this is the best so far. I've had several that stretch over time. To keep them firm requires over inflating them which does worry me. This ball is much thicker walled and much firmer.

I'm not sure why people have reported that this ball doesn't inflate to full size. I had no problem and didn't need to resort to using an air compressor. I'm purchasing a 55cm ball. We'll see how well that goes.
