In the past, my doctor has recommended "lid scrubs" with baby shampoo for my dry eyes and itchy eyelids. That works great if you do it. I saw this product on the shelf at the drug store when I was looking for eye drops. It's much less expensive at Amazon. Anyway, I had already purchased a box and tried it. It works just like the baby shampoo except that the foam feels better on the area around the eyes; not as heavy as the baby shampoo. I talked to the optometrist about this product and she asked me to compare ingredients. They are almost the same as in baby shampoo. But, baby shampoo costs about 1/10th the prce. Of course you should talk to an optometrist if you are having eye problems but if they recommend this product, you could try baby shampoo first for a lot less money.

I'm so happy to have found a convenient, sterile form of eyelid cleanser. And it works great! SteriLid is so soothing and my eyes look and feel much better after just a few days. Sure beats messing with baby shampoo and cotton swabs! I even use it to wash my face!

Having suffered from dry eye syndrome for a long period of time, it has been amazing what a difference this product has made- been able to largely cease use of prescription products. Good product to try first

My opthalmologist recommended this product when I went to him for a sty. He said my lids were "crusty" and to use this daily for three weeks and then as needed. I thought it would sting, but it is a very pleasant product. My eyes feel refreshed after using it. My doctor recommends it so highly he stocks it in his office. Because of his hours, I am happy to be able to reorder this through Amazon.

Theratears Sterilid Eyelid Foam Scrub is truly amazing. I don't have to use my drops for Dry Eye nearly as much, which is wonderful. I just use it according to the directions once daily.

I noticed a big difference in my lashes after about 2 weeks of using Sterilid. I purchased this product after my corneal specialist suggested that it would help with marginal staph keratitis (the autoimmune type). After two weeks my lashes seemed healthier. After one month of use, my eye lashes were thicker and longer, too. My doctor says that my eyes have greatly improved because of the Sterilid washing that I do in the mornings.

This is a very good product.

I first bought it from wal-mart over a year ago and didn't know why they stop selling something that actually works. I strongly recommend it esp. for people that work on the computer for hours or watch tv etc... It will burn your eyelids a bit but it's worth it because it does work to calm your tiring eyes.

It works better then baby shampoo but then again it also costs 20 times more. It does work. I work a lot of hours around 12 to 14 a day and I'm up around 16 or 18 hours a day. I use this right after I wake up, then 8 or 9 hours later, and right before I hit the bed so I do use it 3 times a day. I use glasses because contact lenses are no longer for me because they caused all the problems I have today.

If you have to clean your eyes everyday, this is the best product.
It does not dry out the skin around the eyes or sting.

I don't understand why this makes my eyes feel so much better. The difference is incredible. It's not like I have to put pressure on my eyes or focus on cleaning the tips of the eyelids, but for some reason it just makes my eyes feel fresh. I can't quite believe it to be honest. I'm a little confused, but for some reason it makes a massive difference.

I wake with gritty dry eyes. They say this feeling of grit is just agitation and not foreign objects, but given the results of this I'm not so sure. I generally have sensitive dry eyes, which is why I tried this.
