I have used this book on numerous occasions with my elementary age students to work on a wide variety of topics - including bullying, self-control and self-esteem as well as ADHD. The kids always enjoy the games and do the exercises without complaint. Once you have a game on your shelf, it helps immensely to use this book to bring out the social skills learned.

Pretty basic,

Basic information...but good to assist you in conceptualizing how checkers, chess, etc can be used in counseling with kids. Mostly cites "old school" games.
