I didnt have the shipping issues the other reviewer did--my bed arrived from fed-ex exactly on time and packed up perfectly. Maybe the only downside was i had to haul the mattress to my actual apartment as the fed-ex guy only got it as far as my elevator.

As for the bed itself, super comfy. I wish they had made the full-size with the air-venting bottom foam cuz it does get a teensie bit warm, but i sleep with my window open so its not a big deal for me. You cut open the vacuum plastic packaging and the thing unfolds and inflates itself. The smell took a few days to dissipate, but it really wasnt horribly smelly to begin with.

Overall, very satisfied with this purchase and at 399 shipping included, really cannot be beat!

The mattress arrived in about a week, which for shipping a 90lb mattress from CA to the suburbs of Boston MA is perfectly acceptable. FedEx Ground is the cheapest way to ship and the only one that makes sense. There was a small tear in the plastic wrap and a corresponding dirt mark on the cover. Not a problem. I'm sure it will come out when I wash the cover. Mattress Shop did get my address slightly wrong which delayed delivery one day. I had it delivered to my office and they left off my company name. The delivery driver made no attempt to find me among the half dozen companies in my building. Since I had been tracking the package, when I saw the problem, I called FedEx and gave them the omitted company name. FedEx notified Sleep Shop when the mattress could not be delivered and Melanie from Sleep Shop called me the next morning and would have corrected the problem, had I not already done so.
The mattress is rolled up and compressed. It's the width of the bed by about 18 inches across. It's awkward to carry. Better done by two, but I hauled it into my third floor condo with some effort. Set up is easy and it is cool to watch the mattress expand. There is a smell, but it did not bother me at all and already seems to have dissipated.
I've never slept on a foam mattress before and it is incredible. With my lower back supported, I wake up with no stiffness. I've only slept on it for two nights, but I'm already used to it. I can understand what some have said about the mattress being warm to sleep on. My AC is usually on from late Spring to Fall since I dislike high humidity. I dont think it will be a problem. I am going to buy a mattress pad since removing and washing the mattress cover looks like I will be a major hassle. That should keep things cooler.
As someone who planned on spending $800 or so on a spring mattress and ended up with memory foam for half that, I am ecstatic.

I just bought this, and am totally THRILLED. This is the deal of the year. Better than the high price brand (better cover, greater thickness, good construction), all at one third the price! Received in excellent condition. Easy to transport and set up - great for moving into tight places. So COMFORTABLE. My bad back never felt as good as this, and I'm sleeping great. I just put it on a wood platform bed, no box spring, and it is just as high as my other beds. I highly recommend this mattress from this company. Best bed I ever bought in my life!

There were rumors about the smell, so the first thing i thought when i got this bed was the stench-- but when we got it, there was no weird or funny smell so i was pleased about that after reading all the comments. I bought it for my boyfriend since he was always complaining about his bed. He is always on his feet and he works hard during the day doing construction, and not to mention that he LOVES to sleep. It was shipped right away within the week, faster than i thought it would come since it was an early Christmas gift. I give it 5 stars- It is a great bed.. So comfortable, very firm, and i love the way i just sink into the bed and it contours with my body. The bed is so thick and big and i love it because it brings the height and i love high beds. Only problem was that we had to get a box spring, but other that my only other complaint, which isn't really a complaint, is that you have a hard time getting out of bed!! The bed is too comfortable that i cant even get out of bed now. If you are one of those people that have a hard time sleeping at night, I highly recommend this bed because unlike my boyfriend who falls asleep to almost anything.. I on the other have trouble falling asleep most of the times. When im on the bed though, i have no absolutely no problems at all. To anyone who loves to sleep, or to those who have problems sleeping because they cant quite get comfortable on their beds... again, i highly recommend this bed. I am fully satisfied and very happy that I chose to get this bed. My boyfriend and i both love it!

Delivery was quick. Mattress is not as soft as I had hoped but I sleep well every night. Except for the smell. I aired it out for several days and now after having it for almost a month I'm still pulling the cover and sheets off and opening my windows during the day - looking forward to the night I don't smell the off-gasing or whatever anymore. And needless to say, good luck ever returning it without the machine they used to roll it up in the factory. But overall it's a nice bed- or will be when it stops stinking

I can't belive it but i like this bed better than my boyfriends sealy posturepedic which was $1400.00. I got this bed as a transition bed from leaving my sisters to move in with my boyfriend. I was expecting this bed to be just ok, but alot better than the aero bed i was crashing (and sinking) into. But now after 3 weeks of sleeping on it, I like this bed so much more then my boyfriends $1400 bed!

The sealy bed is very firm, which I grew to like, but this memory foam bed is firm and soft! It forms to the body much quicker than the seal does. It takes some time for the sealy to become comfortable, but this bed is comfy right away. There is a gross latex smell for the first 2-3 days, so i sugest unrolling it and leaving a window open- DONT put sheets on it right away or pillows cause they soak up the latex smell. And the way it ships is great! it all rolled up and flattened and very very easy to get around- And NO delivery fee or delivery guys begging for tips and leaving dirt on your floor. If u cant lift 60-70 lbs than only order the bed if someone can help u get it to where it needs to be. Fed ex literally knocks on the door and drops it at your feet. My elderly mother happened to be visiting and the fed-ex guy just dropped it at her feet! I can't imagine if she was the only resident and left with a brand new bed in her living room unable to move the thing! So just keep in mind to order this ONLY if u have help moving it around.

Overall - this is a great bed totally worth the money

My wife and I put this mattress into service about six months ago and want to say yipeeeeeee it still works great. Opening it gave no lasting odor problems at all. We slept on it the first day we set it up.

I have 2ruptured discs L4+L5 and a left hip that needs surgery. I have a lot of pain and our former mattress - a sealy beautyrest - had seen its better days so we tried foam. It has been the one of our best purchases.

No more pressure points. No more pain. I can even sleep on my bad hip and the foam cradles us perfectly forming aroung our shapes.

My fear is that the foam won't retain its resiliance. As of these first six months though, things are fine. No sign of fatigued foam. Let's hope it lasts.zzzz

The bed is super comfortable (especially with my new soft sheets). It almost feels like melting into it. Delivery was fast. The only thing I sorta disliked was carrying it up the stairs. It comes vacuum sealed and rolled so it is basically an 80 lb 2ft diameter 5ft long cylinder with no real handholds. Also the slight scent that exists from the vacuuming process was noticable but not overpowering.

My mattress arrived three days after I ordered it, all the way from California to the middle of the U.S. It came in perfect condition and it fluffed back up right away! I'm happy with how I'm sleeping and really am glad I got this mattress. I wish I had bought it sooner!!

I was extremely skeptical about buying a mattress online specially because it was a memory foam mattress of a brand that I had never heard of. But let me tell you it does the job. After the switch from my old mattress, I could instantly notice what I was missing. The shipping was perfect, and arrived in a very timely fashion. The mattress itself feels great, its incredibly soft, but does not lack in firmness. As for the smell people have mentioned I personally do NOT think it is anything to fuss about, and all it takes is some time and its gone. All together I think this is a great buy, and a great way to live comfortably without dishing out 3000 dollars for a name brand.
