This is a must have for the long term care practitioner. This book is arranged by topic area of the MDS to aid the therapist in contributing to the entire care plan of the nursing home resident, not simply the activity section. With the opportunity to use Section T of the MDS for physician ordered recreation therapy this book will help other disciplines understand the contributions of the recreation therapist in the nursing home. Simple Pleasures: a sensory motor intervention for nursing home residents with dementia is also a great find by this same author. I am anxiously awaiting another edition!
