Therapeutic Touch is an energy therapy modality that is little understood in the mainstream healthcare communities. This book is pretty straight forward as it tries to put to words something that requires the going into the realm of intuition and sensitivity where words kind of fall short. So the author does a pretty good job I think. This is an experiential artform or therapy practice so a retreat or "hands on" (no pun or irony intended) training is really necessary.
