Due to cervical surgery getting a good night sleep was illusive until I tried the Therapeutica® Sleeping Pillow. I have a closet full of pillows and have tried them all ... this is the best yet!

This pillow has given me a fresh start to every morning. I ordered another one for a friend with terrible neck problems. I can't wait to share the relief of pain. This is not like a memory foam pillow that wears down and allows your head to wobble. It truly works for back and side-sleeping. Once you use it, you will wish you had ordered sooner. It's well worth the price. You won't be sorry. By the way, my MRI shows that all my cervical disks are shot, so I definitely know what I'm talking about. Good Luck!

I have enjoyed it very much, I have MS and it is in my neck. I have been dealing with this since February 2006 and I have had several problems. My chiropractor told me about this pillow and I love it. It has taken care of the neck pain.

I bought one of these after carefully measuring my shoulder, and gratifyingly the pillow seemed to keep my spine straight when I was lying on either side. These pillows are sized so that the high regions on either side of center match your neck to mattress distance, and it really worked. I bought it because I was having C6-7 disk problems. Mixed in with PT and some other changes, I thought the pillow really helped.

Months later, though, I was getting a different sort of problem, neck and back of the head aching that would wake me up. Moving my head around seemed to help. So I wondered if this pillow was immobilizing my head too much. I went back to a plain flat pillow (but a very thin one), and this aching problem almost completely went away in about 3 days. Though, I am getting a little of the tingling arm sensations back.

Overall I see this pillow as a mixed blessing. It does cradle your head when you're on your back, and keep your spine straight when you're on your side, but maybe this isn't good. I haven't thrown it out but will stay with the flat pillow instead for the forseeable future.

One other thing - this pillow had a nasty chemical smell when I got it, so strong that I couldn't even have it in the room let alone sleep on it. I left it in front of a fan for a couple days and it stunk up the basement without seeming any better. Then I wrapped it in aluminum foil with one end open and the other end sealed to my shopvac hose and left that running for a week! It still had some smell but was acceptable after that.

I sleep on my side and have tried several pillows to align my neck with my body and this pillow does it best. You do not need the full size pillow; this 'travel size' pillow is all that is needed for comfort. Breathes well, no sweating. Easy to change covers to keep clean. Be careful of making measurement of your shoulder. If your measurement is right at a size change point, go up to the next height because pillow will compress a bit when used. The compression will bring your head down level to your spine.
