This review is from: The Therapist as a Person: Life Crises, Life Choices, Life Experiences, and Their Effects on Treatment (Relational Perspectives Book Series) (Hardcover)
This is a book of tremendous value for analysts and therapists involved in the practice of psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. The collection of authors and their personal struggles in and out of the consultation room provides a rich and seldomly seen view of how life touches the therapist and the patient.

This review is from: The Therapist as a Person: Life Crises, Life Choices, Life Experiences, and Their Effects on Treatment (Relational Perspectives Book Series) (Paperback)
This book takes so many differnt life crises or unusual events in a therapist's life and shows the reader a myriad of ways to handle self-disclosure with patients. I was moved to tears at times and awe struck. I learned more about life and myself.
