I ordered this book for a class I was teaching on positive psych for therapists. I found it to be an excellent resource, well organized, and very very useful.

It also has a website from which many forms can be downloaded, for use with clients. Most textbooks are a bit bulky and difficult to actually apply for use with clients. This one is not.

I love this book. I'm not a psychologist or anything similar, but I read just about every psychology book I can find, including textbooks. I wanted to help a friend who was suffering from mild depression but wasn't willing to go to therapy. I had read Martin Seligman's books and thought those principles would be helpful for this friend. So I used Magyar-Moe's book to find out what a psychologist might actually do for each session, using the positive psychology principles. Then my friend and I worked through the session ideas together. Totally off-label use, I know, but it really was a good experience, and the specific instructions were usable even for us non-practitioners. So if you're looking for help and have already read Seligman, you might give this a try.
