This review is from: A Massage Therapist's Guide to Understanding, Locating and Treating Myofascial Trigger Points, 1e (Paperback)
Current, comprehensive and accurate... this book is an excellent resource and delivers on the promise of its title.
The CD-ROM adds very nicely to its value as you get access to all the text and graphics (through a browser) as well as video clips of Dr. Chaitow explaining & demonstrating technique. The text is clear. The research is current (6/10/07). The drawings are clear. The organization is helpful, whether you're reading it from beginning to end, or if you're reading a specific chapter. The reader will quickly understand, know how to locate (by pain maps and/or palpation), and know how to treat myofascial trigger points. |
