This review is from: Therapy in Nephrology and Hypertension: A Companion to Brenner and Rector's the Kidney (Hardcover)
This book is written for nephrologists, fellows in nephrology, urologists and internists who often have to perform decision making on renal problems in their practice. It is a succinct review of current practice in every field of nehprology. Chapters are written by leading authorities on the subject. Content of the book is divided into major fields of nephrology under a sub-editor maintaining a uniformity in style, quality and currency of every chapter.Discussion of chapters start with a brief introduction of the subject and moving on to a discussion of its management with reference to major trials that influence decision making. On contoversial topics the authors frequently make specific recommendations at the end of the chapter on therapeutic decisions. There is a section devoted to principles of clinical trials in nephrology. In the current era of booming growth of internet a chapter on Internet Resources for Nephrologists is also thrown in which is bound to grow in no time. In conclusion, this book written as a companion to Brenner and Rector's THE KIDNEY is a stand alone book with a complete state-of-art discussion of therapy of renal disorders. |
