By Ken Carlson (California, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Gene Therapy for Neurological Disorders (Hardcover)
This is a useful book for non-scientists and scientists who are interested to know the updated science of Gene Therapy for brain diseases. The book covers the gene therapy research and clinical trials for many CNS diseases such as: Pain, Alzheimer, Parkinson and Brain tumors. Nice figures and colors. Established authors in the field such as P. Lowenstein, M. Castro, F. Gage, A. D. Larocque, A. Epstein, L. Medina-Kauwe, Sofreniew, Federoff, Dunnett, D. Curiel, Fueyo, Pulkkanen, C. Wheeler and Black. There are also interesting chapters about Gene Therapy on Multiple Sclerosis and non-viral approaches for news ideas and application in gene therapy. A book to read!
