I purchased the shoulder Active Wrap just days before my rotator cuff surgery. Some friends recommended an ice pump but it was pricey and the doctor said I would not be icing for long. I did not think that ice in a bag or frozen peas would stay on my shoulder. I purchased this because I wanted to be able to move around while icing. It comes with 2 ice packs, which also can be used as heat packs, and it fits snuggly over the shoulder. There are velcro straps to adjust the fit. This wrap has been extremely useful since I am still icing after my workouts which will continue for several months. The only problem was that immediately following the surgery I had several layers of gauze on my shoulder and I was afraid to force the wrap on. However, within 1 week, the doctor removed the gauze and I was able to wear this Active Wrap without any problem. I recommend the product even if you just have shoulder pain. You should not have to spend more than $70 dollars, or in that ballpark.

I have had a shoulder injury for almost a year, that has been recurring. I am going from making my own ice bags; proping my arm in one place to stabilize ice, staying in one position, wet clothes from melting ice.This ice wrap allows me freedom of movement, the proper protection against skin, and easy assembly. It can also use on either shoulder. The price is right and well worth the money.

Both of my sons have played baseball throughout high school and we have had experience with sore arms. We have used this product a number of times and it has performed very well. The neoprene is most comfortable and durable. We leave the ice packs in the sleeve and stick the whole thing in the freezer. The sleeve also provides plenty of protection for your skin from the cold gel packs.

After repeated use, a tear has appeared near a seam where one of the straps is anchored. Considering how many times we have used this it has held up well and much better than cheaper brands we have tried.

I have several Active Wrap products and am very happy with all of them. The are flexible and comfortable to wear. Whether you want heat or cold, the packs are adaptable either way. I think they are a good value.

Before you order anything from Pro Therapy Supplies, better read their return policy first. They charge a 10% restocking fee plus charging you the supposedly free postage they originally sent the item to you. Their customer service was very hard to deal with and there were so much paper works if you ever have to return anything to them, make sure you would have an hour to waste.

A friend of mine advised me to buy a heat wrap to help me deal with the pain from lymphoma. Because I'd read that icing could be equally helpful, I decided to upgrade from an old but serviceable heating pad & went searching on Amazon. This seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, & I ordered it. Sadly, I was unable to open the parcel for a couple of weeks during which I used my older heating pad. When I was finally able to open it, I was surprised - no,stunned - by the low-tech joke I found. My old pad (which had cost less than half what this wrap cost) has an electrical connection, a temperature adjuster, & a timer. This thing relies on hot & cold packs which can't be used without lengthy preparation. Add injury to insult. The pocket into which each of these packs is supposed to be slipped was ripped down the seam to a point where a pack would slip out unless held in place by some other arrangement. Obviously, no quality control came close to this product. I'm completely disappointed - but I learned a lesson.

Product purchased is what it said and has been working fine for heating and icing the shoulder.--Was to have received two ice packs with product only just one was sent. Instead of returning thought I would send a e-mail a request the missing ice pack. Well have received NO response from Amazon but received response from Active Wrap but they were out of stock at the time, but suggest I buy two more packs. Well haven't received my missing pack and haven't even gotten a response from then since. Buyer beware---also don't be stupid like me-if its not right return it right away.

I like it's simple functionality. It is like Crocs , could afford more but what for.? The kids are using my Rolex.
