These strips themselves are fantastic. If you have the FreeStyle Flash Meter and you use these strips, you already know that. What you probably want to know from looking at these Amazon reviews is what you can expect from the outside vendor that you are purchasing them from.

I purchased a box of 100 from Devine Medical Supply. (Look at the top right portion of your screen to see who the outside vendor is.) I had my test strips THREE (3) DAYS after I placed my order! The expiration date was well into the future (expire May 2009; purchased Oct 2007); I will definitely use the 100 strips long before May 2009 ever arrives. And the price was fantastic: $67 total (including shipping) from Devine/Amazon vs. $120 total (including sales tax) from my local "discount" pharmacy.

Next time I need some more diabetes supplies, I'm going to see if Devine sells them as I was extremely pleased with this vendor.

My fingers hate to be tested four times a day, but I have always trusted these test strips.

I actually got this for my cat. The brand before this (no longer made) worked for cats, and the strips were cheaper than the ones made for cats. My veterinarian was all for the prior one, and studies verified that it was as good as the veterinarian version. But I tested this against the veterinarian one, and the disparity in readings was 150 points. . . so it was no help to me.
