A Map To Build A Dream On,
By A Customer
This review is from: There and Back Again: The Map of the Hobbit (Paperback)
I love The Hobbit and this map would make an excellent companion to the book for any teacher's classroom! Trust me. My students loved it.

A great supplement for a Language Arts class,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: There and Back Again: The Map of the Hobbit (Paperback)
I used this when I was teaching The Hobbit in a middle school language arts class. The map is a full-size foldout map which comes attached to a little booklet, and within this is the map and a small booklet about The Hobbit. The booklet does not really merit much mention, but I needed a visual that would allow my students to see the journey made by Bilbo Baggins and company (there are plenty of LOTR maps, but hardly any of The Hobbit) and this proved to be an inexpensive and suitable map.
My only complaint is that the map does not have nearly enough details as mentioned in the book. Otherwise, this is a nice full-color map of The Hobbit.

He is one of today's best writers. No one can tell a story as elaborated as he can. He is J.R.R. Tolkien!
