No doubt about it. This work is totally correct and so simple. Anyone inflicted with any degenerative disease needs to read this spectacular work. I'd give it 10 stars if there was room for them!

I bought "There is a Cure for Arthritis" because I want to have alternatives. Dr. Paavo Airola traveled all throughout Europe to become familiar with their different treatments. He discovered many small clinics and hospitals which offer natural treatments for arthritis: such as juice fasting, proper rest, exercise and other holistic treatments. Dr. Airola presents several testimonies of patients who received long term relief. The reason being, that these institutions are treating their patients with "Biological Medicine." He explains that biological methods are treating the person not the disease. Biological medicine tries to go to the root of the problem and give the body a chance to restore itself at the cellular level. Biological medicine agrees more with the first principle of the art of healing, which Hippocrates states as "Primum est nil nocere" - that treatment must not harm the patient.

I personally followed the advise in this book and went from totally bedfast, unable to move from my neck down, to jogging. It has
been 25 years since I did this and I have never had a recurrence of the RA. I am careful with my diet and eat mostly raw
fruits and vegetables, with appropriate whole grains, chicken, turkey, fish and occasional red meat. This book was and is a
Godsend and not accepted by the mainstream medical community who were doing nothing for me. I was on every medicine available at the time with no help. If you have RA, buy this book, follow the treatment and you will be forever greatful for the Doctor's work.

I purchased this book for a relative who gave her copy of a book as a gift to somebody else in the 1980s. From what I've heard the system in this book does work.

This book has many case histories and they are very convincing. I know the ideas could be very helpful to many people. I would like to read a more recent book on this subject also.

Having grown up in Europe and having fasted at the Buchinger Klinik in Lindau, Germany about the time the author did his research there, this book was a nice refresher for my common sense and caused me to return to basics such as fasting, good nutrition, exercise, meditation and searching for joy in life. Read it, live by it and watch yourself get well.

If nothing else, following the authors advise will keep you so busy you will not have time to worry about your pain and before you know it there will be no pain.

Excellent Book. It tells you about case studies that were very sucessful and will let you know that our bodies have a tremendous ability to heal when we know what to do to help it. I recommend it highly! (-:

This is an excellent book that is required reading for a course of study that will lead to the opportunity to sit for the N.D. designation, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine.
