Was this written by a guy? Parts are funny, but the basis of the entire story is sex and the objectification of women. Readers are told repeatedly about the girl's "tits", "boobs", "rack", or "pussy". This reads like a 13 year old boy with his first porn magazine.

I wasn't sure if I was going to review this book at all. I bought the book based on Andria Large's other books, the Beck Brothers series. This book was okay, Delilah and Nick's point of views seemed a little childish, Nick's was a little douchebaggy, example, when Delilah gets upset and runs down the sidewalk from Nick, his POV comments on her "big 'ole Titties" and how she has to hold her dress up so they don't flop out. It came off as gross to me. I know I am not describing this quite right, but I was disappointed in the book. The Beck books were much better. It sucks that this book was $4.99, I won't buy the second book.

Cute book with humor all thru it.
I enjoyed this book and I loved the characters, even the cute supporting characters. They were as good as the H/H. I am so excited about the next book that they will write.
As the supporting characters are so good, I know I will enjoy the 2nd one coming out. AND I will read it!!!!!

The only thing I found that I did not expect was the Bad Editing. Too many mistakes with missing words and lack of punctuation.
I am always surprised to find a great book by a great author to be full of editing errors. The hard part is the writing of the book, not the editing, so why all the errors???

Yes, I RECOMMEND this book. GO and get this book and enjoy this great read!!

THANK YOU That THIS IS NOT A CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!!!

I am not a quitter, I really like to finish a book, unless there is major cheating I always finish. I did finish this book, but it was very hard to do, the h was so childish sometimes, flying off the deep end like a 13 yr old girl! I hate saying this but this book was so poorly written, it read just like bad fan fiction, the dimensions were head spinning, one minute I'm think they just met then the next sentence is saying WEEKS have gone by, and all of a sudden it's a year later! Her mom dies, and she got a tattoo and doesn't remember like she was roofed, it's like the authors just didn't feel like writing in details so left major parts of the story out, this happened ALOT, so many parts of the story needed to be told but were just glazed over, it was seriously strange.

This was so immature I just couldn't finish. I was looking for a hot mature romance instead she behaved like a child; in fact the whole storyline was like high school.

Loved It !

The love, the passion, the hurt, the trust, and the romance are what makes this book AMAZING! Each scene keeps you coming back for more. My favorite part...the end....and I'm not sharing the details... You will have to read to it for yourself!

Delilah captured my heart right from the start. I think most gals can relate to her feelings many times throughout the story...I know I did. I often found myself thinking what would I do, if I was her... What would I do if my best friend took me a place like Club M? And WOW! Nick is a dream come true...and sexy! Was so happy to see him reveal his softer side :). Both characters are extremely "real" and easy to get to know and love.

I am so happy that I took the time to read this book. My crazy, busy kid schedule does not afford me long time periods to read, but I found that this book was such a fun, exciting, easy read that I made the time, even if it was just a 5 minute blurp at a time. Perfect for a busy mom, like me, that wants some "time away".

Can't wait for the next book !

5 'sweetness and humorous' stars

This is another classic 'never judge a book by its cover' line. Seriously, the author need to get rid of that awful cover. I rather she just put a white backdrop with black title. Awful cover aside, this book is full of humorous laugh out loud moment that I nearly peed my pants and roll on the ground. I never had such a good laugh since reading the epic 'Tangled' by Emma Chase. Nick Santino inner monologue is nearly on par with Drew Evans. Maybe not really there yet, but definitely close.

Initially the book started off feeling like a 3 stars read because the writing was pretty mediocre and mostly fluff, but half way through I had such a great time laughing out, I bumping it up to 4 stars. Past second half though, Nick turns into a totally adorable, sweet and swoony guy, I'm sold. 5 stars for Nick Santino!

Delilah Sampson is single and jobless after finding out her boyfriend banging her boss during lunch hour. She is a frumpy girl who doesn't dress up, easy-going, a dedicated employee and had a tough backbone. I absolutely love the way she dump her douche of a boyfriend within minutes flat.

Nick Santino is a lawyer who is looking for a new secretary. He wants to hire a secretary that is capable and smart and someone that he wouldn't end up banging. He reminds me so much of Daniel Meade from Ugly Betty. He ended up hiring Delilah for the specific reason that she doesn't look attractive at all. Surprisingly, Delilah turns out to be the best secretary he ever had. She is on time, organized, hardworking and etc.

In the beginning, Nick was painted like an absolute manwhore. But we didn't get to see that side of him. I thought he is the best hot boss that I ever dream of having.
