Book Description

December 2002
Sarah Menet was pronounced dead but she did not die. Her near death experience (NDE) is one of the most extensive ever recorded. Sarah not only visited the beautiful spirit world, describing the people, their dress, activities, and buildings; but she also visited what could be called "hell" and describes the torment of those committed to that terrible place. She also received answers to many questions such as:

Why are terrible things allowed to happen to good people?
Is there a purpose to life here on earth?
Why is it important to treat others with respect?
Is it important to be good?
Is there such a things as deja vu?
Is there such a thing as reincarnation?
What are some of the difficulties that may lie ahead for us on earth?

Sarah was also shown several future events. She saw tall buildings in New York collapsing amidst smoke and debris and people running years before 9/11. This was the beginning of other calamities which were to include a great plague suddenly striking several cities in the United States, a nuclear war and other devastating events.

So begins the story of Sarah's extraordinary experience. It is without a doubt the most complete and extensive NDE ever recorded. Sarah not only visited the beautiful spirit world, describing the people living there, their dress, activities and buildings; but she visited what we call "hell" and describes the torment of those committed to that terrible place. She saw many things and received answers to many questions. Sarah was also shown many future events which would shortly happen upon the earth. One of the things she saw, which was to signal the beginning of those events, was some tall buildings in New York collapsing amidst smoke and dust and people running. She also saw a great plague suddenly strike four cities in the U.S., the start of a nuclear war, and many other things.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is THE book! January 2, 2007
A Kid's Review
Format:Paperback
I love this book. It reaches out to me. I've always wondered what death was like. This gave me the answer. Although death is a sad thing, you will always know that that person is in a much better place. I used to wonder why. Why did all the animals I truely love have to die. But as Menet says if you truely love your pet. Truely. You may have them back. Even though I am eleven I truely believe every word she said about Heaven and the after life. I know thats not saying much but to me it is a lot. So read this book! It has some great words of wisdom! And lots of comforting thoughts!

5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone Believes in Angels June 1, 2007
By Buffy
Format:Paperback
After reading this book and reading the reviews on this site...I have to ask...Why is it everyone can believe in angels but try not to believe in demons? In other words some of the reviews seem to dwell on the fact that the book was not as positive as they would have liked...But what is going to happen before "the end of the world as we know it" is NOT going to be positive. I think that she had a quite different experience than other people . And that what she was shown was not meant for her alone. Yes alot of it was tragic, but at the same time it doesn't have to be. It's a wake up call for every human being on the earth. To be able to "endure to the end" It may be helpful to have a heads up on what we are going to be enduring. Not eveyone is going to be killed before the second coming, in fact... MOST will live through it. We all know it will be paradise in heaven and I think people need a reminder of what were up against to be able to get there. Overall I thought it was an excellent book. I was on the waiting list to get it before it was released. I never have read an NDE before and have never read one since. I have never had a desire to read them but I felt compelled to read this one. I recommend this book to every living soul out there.

I cringed at the description of her life as a child. What a tragedy, for all of her siblings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Life Lessons February 24, 2012
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Sarah LaNelle Menet talks about spirit prison in her book "There is No Death" and the part that impacted me the most was where she describes her visit to "hell".

(Spoiler alert) A little background - Sarah tried to commit suicide cause her life was miserable. She had had a terrible childhood and was abused by her father, life didn't get better as she grew up and got married and realized she had married an abusive man just like her father, anyway, I won't go into more details, but she didn't believe in heaven or hell, and since she hated life just wanted it to be done and over with, so she took a lot of pills and died. She found herself in a peaceful sort of in-between place for a while, then a deceased relative comes to tell her "you're not supposed to be here, you have to go back" to which she cries and refuses, then she's sucked into a "spirit prison" - it's dark, she hears what she thought at first was tortured animals but then realizes it's people, she feels claustrophobic like she's stuck in a thick heavy goo surrounding her, as she slowly moves around she asked in her mind "Am I in Hell?"

Quoting from the book:

"The answer came quickly. No, this is not Hell, exactly. This was a place of temporary confinement for those spirits who had committed acts of evil during their lives on earth and, having not repented of them had to suffer for their choices. Here they suffered a penalty for their sins that would help them understand the broad consequences of evil. People on earth referred to this place as hell because it is so very horrifying, but here they called it spirit prison.

"I understood that there were several areas to this spirit prison, and I was in the worst part of this place of sorrow.

5.0 out of 5 stars Saved my life! November 16, 2011
By C2G
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This book arrived on the very day I was at one of the lowest points in my life...and literally saved my life! It reminded me who I am and that I needed to start living my very important life again. This book was what it took for me to snap out of my negative spiral. Things have been moving in a positive direction ever since and for the first time in years now, I really want to live again! Thank you for taking the time to write this. I now have started writing my own book and I can only hope it is as powerful as yours!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book from a wonderful lady. February 20, 2003
By Steve
Format:Paperback
... To those that believe that there is a God, and he controls what is going on, this book testifies to that fact. This life is not based on random events from primodial slime that many so called enlightened ones tries to foster upon us. If you want to have further reassurance that you mean something, and that you are not alone this book is for you. If you are one of the nay sayers of life after death, then all I can say for you is I'm sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hauntingly familiar to other NDE future events.... March 29, 2010
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Many NDE's privileged to glimpse future events witness a very difficult period for the USA in the form of economic collapse, pandemics, natural disasters, mobocracy, racial strife, and even foreign invasion. Astute observers viewing current events can see the 'buds on the tree' before the leaves mature...

I see in Sarah Menet's experience many parallels with other NDE's. America has been a choice land above all others, but now is contaminating itself with greed, lying, materialism, coarse behavior, and corrupt politicians. The USA is not alone in it's condemnation; indeed many other nations appear headed on a collision course with destiny. Not a pretty thought, is it!

After the difficulties she has endured, I can only wish her the very best life can give her. Sarah Menet is an example to all of us how to rise above the worst mortality can dish out, and come off the victor of her own soul and destiny. Sarah, if you read this, thank you for your courage, tenacity, and sharing your unique experience with all of us. God Bless.
