5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone Believes in Angels
After reading this book and reading the reviews on this site...I have to ask...Why is it everyone can believe in angels but try not to believe in demons? In other words some of the reviews seem to dwell on the fact that the book was not as positive as they would have liked...But what is going to happen before "the end of the world as we know it" is NOT going to be...

1.0 out of 5 stars Exploits Fear of the End of Days
This is my 1st book review. I felt compelled to warn people that this book is, in my opinion, very dark and promotes fear of... well, almost everything... even what types of cloths we should wear. If this books future predictions come true I hope God takes me now because existence and survival will be unbearable. I had to throw the book out at about half way thru just...

5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone Believes in Angels, June 1, 2007
This review is from: There Is No Death: The Extraordinary True Experience of Sarah LaNelle Menet (Paperback)
After reading this book and reading the reviews on this site...I have to ask...Why is it everyone can believe in angels but try not to believe in demons? In other words some of the reviews seem to dwell on the fact that the book was not as positive as they would have liked...But what is going to happen before "the end of the world as we know it" is NOT going to be positive. I think that she had a quite different experience than other people . And that what she was shown was not meant for her alone. Yes alot of it was tragic, but at the same time it doesn't have to be. It's a wake up call for every human being on the earth. To be able to "endure to the end" It may be helpful to have a heads up on what we are going to be enduring. Not eveyone is going to be killed before the second coming, in fact... MOST will live through it. We all know it will be paradise in heaven and I think people need a reminder of what were up against to be able to get there. Overall I thought it was an excellent book. I was on the waiting list to get it before it was released. I never have read an NDE before and have never read one since. I have never had a desire to read them but I felt compelled to read this one. I recommend this book to every living soul out there.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is THE book!, January 2, 2007
A Kid's Review
This review is from: There Is No Death: The Extraordinary True Experience of Sarah LaNelle Menet (Paperback)
I love this book. It reaches out to me. I've always wondered what death was like. This gave me the answer. Although death is a sad thing, you will always know that that person is in a much better place. I used to wonder why. Why did all the animals I truely love have to die. But as Menet says if you truely love your pet. Truely. You may have them back. Even though I am eleven I truely believe every word she said about Heaven and the after life. I know thats not saying much but to me it is a lot. So read this book! It has some great words of wisdom! And lots of comforting thoughts!

As I read this wonderful book, I kept saying to myself, "This makes a lot of sense". It just 'sounds' right!
I cringed at the description of her life as a child. What a tragedy, for all of her siblings.
Sarah has my total respect!
I wish her lots of success and improved health!!
Sarah, thank you for sharing such a personal experience with us!
I highly recommend this book to ALL!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book from a wonderful lady., February 20, 2003

... To those that believe that there is a God, and he controls what is going on, this book testifies to that fact. This life is not based on random events from primodial slime that many so called enlightened ones tries to foster upon us. If you want to have further reassurance that you mean something, and that you are not alone this book is for you. If you are one of the nay sayers of life after death, then all I can say for you is I'm sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Book, November 18, 2008
This review is from: There Is No Death: The Extraordinary True Experience of Sarah LaNelle Menet (Paperback)
I've read several books by people who have glimpsed the other side, including the one by Ritchie which I believe started the genre. (It's also an excellent book.) I found the book inspirational and enlightening.

Sarah clearly came from a dysfunctional family background, and by her own admission, did a lot of self-sabotage of relationships and life in general in her earlier years. However, her NDE (near death experience) helped her put things in perspective, and gave her insights which allowed her to see a much more complete picture of life and its challenges. While some books tend to focus on pushing a particular agenda, Sarah is content to simply share her experiences without the need to preach to the reader. Her calm, thoughtful sharing of her experiences and insights gave me a greater perspective on some of the events which have touched my life over the years. I'd highly recommend the book to anyone, religious or not, who is trying to put life into perspective.

I really enjoyed this book. In fact, I will be ordering a couple more to have around. Lots of good reminders that there is so much more to this life than we realize.

4.0 out of 5 stars There is No Death, January 13, 2011

This review is from: There Is No Death: The Extraordinary True Experience of Sarah LaNelle Menet (Paperback)
"There is No Death" was an "easy reading" book with clear descriptions. I've read many books about life beyond physical death and they're almost all filtered through the Christian culture in which we live. Whether or not people who have had experiences of having died are Christians, we tend to see things in Christian terms: heaven, hell, purgetory, the importance of love and forgiveness. This book has all these plus elements of George Washington's vision at Valley Forge of the U.S. being attacked and nobody coming to help us, plus the fears we've all been "warned" about of earthquakes and massive weather events.
Sarah Menet tells about some lessons she got about the important things in life: love, helping others, etc., and she talks about the "spirit world" in very simplistic terms, makes lots of authoritive statements about deja vu,insects & animals, reincarnation, murder victims and what happens to murderers, talents, life on other planets, etc. which reflect her eventual immersion in the bible.
In sum, it touches on our hopes and fears, causes us to think and wonder, but should not be considered anyone's reality but hers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hauntingly familiar to other NDE future events...., March 29, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: There Is No Death: The Extraordinary True Experience of Sarah LaNelle Menet (Paperback)
Many NDE's privileged to glimpse future events witness a very difficult period for the USA in the form of economic collapse, pandemics, natural disasters, mobocracy, racial strife, and even foreign invasion. Astute observers viewing current events can see the 'buds on the tree' before the leaves mature...

I see in Sarah Menet's experience many parallels with other NDE's. America has been a choice land above all others, but now is contaminating itself with greed, lying, materialism, coarse behavior, and corrupt politicians. The USA is not alone in it's condemnation; indeed many other nations appear headed on a collision course with destiny. Not a pretty thought, is it!

After the difficulties she has endured, I can only wish her the very best life can give her. Sarah Menet is an example to all of us how to rise above the worst mortality can dish out, and come off the victor of her own soul and destiny. Sarah, if you read this, thank you for your courage, tenacity, and sharing your unique experience with all of us. God Bless.

This review is from: There Is No Death: The Extraordinary True Experience of Sarah LaNelle Menet (Paperback)
This book arrived on the very day I was at one of the lowest points in my life...and literally saved my life! It reminded me who I am and that I needed to start living my very important life again. This book was what it took for me to snap out of my negative spiral. Things have been moving in a positive direction ever since and for the first time in years now, I really want to live again! Thank you for taking the time to write this. I now have started writing my own book and I can only hope it is as powerful as yours!
