5.0 out of 5 stars Kenny Rogers Knows What We Like
This new album,"There You Go Again", gives the Kenny Rogers fan more of what he does best. Great ballads, love songs, and story songs. Guest artists add beautiful harmony to most cuts, but what a nice surprise to hear the powerful twang of guitarist Duane Eddy on "I Won't Forget". That sound just jumped out of the speakers, and Kenny sings with that...

3.0 out of 5 stars Really Not a fan
I can't say that I bought this album for myself... Im young and never listened to Kenny, but if you have an older loved one in your life, get it for them, its probably going to be the last album that Kenny ever makes so here is your last shot to get something for the Kenny fan in your life.

5.0 out of 5 stars One Of The Best, May 23, 2001

I have about 60 of Kenny Rogers CDs, and, this is one I keep in the smaller tower holder, because it gets played so much. If you are in love, or were, this is a must have.

4.0 out of 5 stars one of his best, October 4, 2000
This review is from: There You Go Again (Audio CD)
Kenny rogers last album, is probably one of the best if not the best album he has ever done. Excluding his great hits albums. IT stays in line with what Country music is and still gives you that broad ness we have come to love from Kenny this is espcially evedient in his newwest single HE Will/ She Knows. I strongly recomend this album to anyone who enjoyed his early albums and "She rides wild horses".

4.0 out of 5 stars Kenny does it again with one misstep!, October 11, 2000

Hey there!

Just wanted to say Kenny has produced another fabulous album! Every song is excellent with one exception. "He Will, She Knows", also his 1st single is horrible!!! I have no idea why someone so smart chose that song as a single! Any other song on the CD would have fit much better! Oh well=) I still give it an A!!!!

The first thing you'll notice when you first put this CD in, is that Kenny's voice is just as inviting as it always has been. It's like sitting down with an old friend that you haven't seen in a while. I believe that the song selection on this new album is better (overall) than "She Rides Wild Horses", though there may not be a really big hit coming from the new one. There isn't as many love ballads as was on "Across My Heart" and this album is more country, unlike "Across My Heart" which was country-less. The musical instruments really come through on this one, and compliment Kenny's voice really well. And the duet with Linda Davis on "When We Make Love" is great, I'm not sure if I've heard of her before, but I will looking for her album. There may not be a "The Greatest" or "The Gambler" on this CD, but there are quite a few songs that I love. This is a GREAT CD for any Kenny Rogers fan!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Country with Class, October 4, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: There You Go Again (Audio CD)
There You Go Again lacks the huge hit that made The Gamble, Kenny, or Love Will Turn You Around multi-platinum successes. However, Rogers 59th album is as fine a country collaboration as he has ever put together. The CD contains 12 songs. The list of guest vocalist sounds like a who's who in country music. Collin Raye, Diamond Rio, Brad Paisley, Alison Krauss, and Duane Eddy are just a few of the stars on the CD. Ballads dominate the CD but each one is well chosen. The songs He Will, She Knows and Blue Train have the feel of a hit and round out a CD that matches Kenny's Platinum success of She Rides Wild Horses. Look for Kenny's comeback to extend at least one more album. Fans of Kenny as well as fans of country music will love the album. The songs are contemporary and in many cases represent the most compelling music on country radio today.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of Kenny's best works!, January 26, 2001

In my opinion, this album is one of his best works ever. The songs on this album are great! And I think they are well recorded. One of my favorite songs on this album is "Crazy Me". Its one of the couple songs produced and written by Richard Marx. I do belive that this album should do as well, if not better than his previous release, "She Rides Wild Horses". I would definately recomend this album to any Kenny Rogers fan or any fan of country music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kenny Roger's best record EVER!, October 3, 2000

I read his last record,(which I also love), went Platinum in Sales recently. I think this is even a better record. Guest artists include Suzy Bogguss, Alison Krause, BRad Paisley, Collin Raye, and Steve Wariner. Have you heard "He Will, She Knows" yet?
