This review is from: There is a way: Meditations for a seeker (Paperback)
At first glance I did not recognise its profoundity. The author speaks from his personal notes on his journey. The book is very well presented, logical and well worded. Though the author does not make a high pitch for 'Presence', 'Awareness' etc., he makes a slow and unsuspecting case for the spiritual search. He does not offer any specific formulas. He simply states the problem of individual self or ego and makes a case for 'Seeing'.

He says, realization of the importance of 'the interminable and unavoidable reach for Truth' and the process that flows from it is 'the way'. He also says that 'the way' is unique to everyone.

On page 6, it is said, "One way to do that seems to be to occupy the mind -- the senses' director and distribution center -- in pursuing a self-defeating proposition: a question or a problem that is by definition beyond the capacity of the mind to resolve. Like describing the boundaries if infinity. Or the face of God."

On page 10 it is said, "Whatever the problem, the solution is spiritual", and he elaborates the approach and method of getting out of problems.

There is a good notes in the chapters 'The Ego', 'The way is to Simplify', 'And what of God', 'Let us pray'. Specific illuminating thoughts are too many to mention here.

This is a book to read several times, while relaxing, specially to meditate while reading.
