Easy to Assemble Kit, Great Authentic Sound,

Over the past 10 years I have purchased and built several Theremin kits. This one, which I purchased outside of Amazon years ago, is quite good, as is their fully assembled (but more expensive) model. The instructions are clearly written and the electronics replicate the sound of the early tube-driven Theremins of Clara Rockmore and '50s sci-fi movie fame. There are other kits available, and some fully assembled two-antenna instruments that sell for much more money. Get this and a volume pedal unless you plan to become a concert Thereminist.

This is my first theramin, and I got what I expected. A really interesting thing after a little practice. For more "musical" purposes, I think a 2 antenna model would be better. However, this works fine for interesting sounds. I found that using a tuner while practicing helps me be more accurate.
