It's Still J.T., March 3, 2008
This review is from: There's No Good in Goodbye (Audio CD)
This compilation is worth the buy. Johnnie provides that classic nostalgic approach to love, pain, makin up, and romance as only he can. He sounds off as the hopeless lover on the first selection, "If You're Looking For A Fool," and continues that right through, "Time For Makin Up."
Needless to say for Johnnie Taylor fans, he's groovin on songs like, "Midnight Move" and "Take Me To The Mardi Gras."
Last but certainly not least, Johnnie makes us all want to give love another try as he belts out, "if You Take Away Your Love and "I Reach For You."
You will not be disappointed in this purchase...It's a farewell from a great, one that we'll miss for years to come but have these last recordings to lock away in our vaults of life.

His final album ...contemporary soul. ..."Turn over, baby" ...mix of sensuality and simple yearning
