I love this album and have been searching for it in vain. I still have the original vinyl titled "Anne Murray Sings For The Sesame Street Generation" and was searching under that original title. I hope adding this to a review may help others find it as well.

This was my kids favorite album growing up in the mid 70's and beyond. When my first grandchild was born 10 years ago I could not get it on CD. I now have a 2nd grandchild and was very excited to get it for her. When her mom opened the CD, all 4 of my girls broke into song giving us a serenade of "There's a Hippo in my Tub". The music on this disc is so cute that it will become the stuff good memories are made of for years to come.

Somehow hippos came up in conversation last night, leading me to think of 'Hey Daddy.' After years of not hearing the song, with the opening chords I was immediately brought back to childhood, family road trips in the station wagon, requesting this cassette over and over again. I can't wait to share this album with my nieces and nephews, who I am sure will love it as much as I did.

I had the vinyl copy of this album as a child and listened to it over and over again. I was thrilled to find it in CD format and share these beuatiful childhood favorite songs with my little girl.

I remembered using this collection of songs with my own babies when they were young. I was thrilled to find it again! The music and lyrics are as delightful as I remember, not too sappy, but very appealing and some are true classics. My grandaughter naps with these songs every day. They soothe a fussy baby to sleep.

This was my kids favorite album, tape when they were growing up and I so happy to find it for my grandchildren. My 30 year old still remembers the word to the songs. great music. beautiful voice.

I have the album and played this for my daughters all the time, and sang the songs to them when we weren't near a record player. Yes, I have the 1977 record and I refuse to part with it. All the songs are wonderful and Ann Murray has the perfect voice to bring them to life. Personally, I love "Stars are the Windows of Heaven"! If you enjoy this album, you might want to get "In Harmony, a Sesame Street Record". Your children (and you) will love having this collection of songs too! You get The Doobie Brothers, James Taylor, Bette Midler, Al Jarreau, just to name a few. Children can never hear too much music, and there just isn't that much really good music out there for them anymore (i.e. The Wiggles... need I say more?).

This is the CD I listened to as a child. Now, my children love it too. The songs are fun and they don't drive a parent crazy!!

I was so glad to be able to find this CD. It's wonderful for children and adults too and for some reason it is difficult to find. Thank you for having it
