This is a great book for kids who have just started not using a nite light. I read it with my nephew and this book taught him that there is nothing to be afraid of. This is a good bed time story book. Youll be surprised at the ending.

My son is 4 and this is his favorite book. I have read it to him over and over and he is never tired of it. The pictures of the monsters are cute, not scary.

I bought this book to help my 5 yr. old get over his night time fears. This book added to his anxiety. The story starts out fine, brothers teasing each other...but, on the last page it shows the 2 boys in bed with a pair of eyes under the bed!!! What is this, Stephen King?!

I got this book from the library and read to my son. He was hooked on this book instantly after that. He would come to me requesting me to read it to him. I think it helps my son to deal with any scary monsters he had if he had them. Now, my son is infatuated with monsters and loves to read books about them and has NO NIGHTMARES about monsters.

I read this book when I was 5 years old and it absoultley terrifed me. I did not get over my fear of underneath my bed until I was about 12 years old and I am now 25. Just an FYI if your child is sensitive this may not be a good book from them.

I ordered three copies of this book, 1 new and 2 used ones. The used ones came and were in some what good shape for used books. But I have not received the new book as of yet. Can you check on it for me??? Thanks, Jeanne

This book was great! My son, who is 3 absolutely loved it! It wasn't too scary for him and counting the number of monsters up to 5 was a fun way to learn how to count. I recommend this book to any child who loves monsters.

My little brother is 3 and he got this book for Christmas. I am 12 and I think it is a terrible book for anyone younger than me. The monsters are OK, but once Simon thinks the monster is Alex, why change that idea into something truly scary like there really is a monster under your bed? Yuck. Why would a 4 year old WANT to be scared. I think this book just made him more scared. I had to hide this book so my brother could sleep. Please don't tell my aunt. Thank you.
